Director: Fernando Meirelles - Actors: Julianne Moore, Mark Ruffalo. Synopsis: A man suddenly goes blind while driving home from work. Suddenly, his whole world turns into a milky haze and disturbing. One after another, each person that cross-his wife, his doctor, even the seemingly good Samaritan who takes you to your house suffer the same fate at any one time. As the contagion spreads, panic and paranoia take over the city and the victims of sudden blindness of white disease are confined and quarantined in an abandoned psychiatric where any resemblance to normal life begins to fade. Within the hospital there is a secret witness quarantine: a woman who pretends to be blind in order to be with her husband.
