SYNOPSIS:
Abel (Jean-Paul Roussillon) and Junon Vuillard (Catherine Deneuve) has two sons, Joseph and Elizabeth (Anne Consigny). Suffering from a rare genetic condition, Joseph needs a bone marrow transplant. Elizabeth is not supported and then their parents decide to have a third son, Henri, hoping to save Joseph. But it is not compatible, and Joseph died at age seven. Born after Ivan, his fourth and last child. Years pass, and Elizabeth becomes playwright in Paris, Henri successful business is in bankruptcy fraud, and Ivan, with a very troubled teenager, has become almost reasonable father of two children a little strange. One day, Elizabeth, exasperated by the excesses of his brother Henri, decide to exclude it from any relationship with the family. Nobody knows exactly what happened or why.
